Our instructors are happy to provide training in English.

From first flight to licence

We give the practical training for the private pilot licence, LAPL(A) or PPL(A), and the sailplane licence SPL. From there you can go on all the way to an airline licence.

  1. Step 1

    Intro flight

Get a feel for it. The flight counts as your first hour of training.

  2. Step 2

    Membership and medical

Join the club and have an aviation medical examination with an aeromedical examiner.

  3. Step 3

    Lessons with an instructor

Take-off, landing and manoeuvres. You study the theory alongside.

  4. Step 4

    First solo

The day the instructor steps out of the aircraft and you take off alone.

  5. Step 5

    Navigation and solo flights

You plan and fly cross-country flights alone to other airports.

  6. Step 6

    Skill test

A practical test with an examiner. Pass it, and you have your licence.

What does it cost?

Already a pilot?

Join the club and rent our aircraft. The motor glider LN-GJP costs about half as much as an ordinary aircraft, and gives you the SPL TMG along the way. Flying in on your own aircraft? See visiting pilots.
